In Typorganism, we can see the future of the web. It is fuzzy to me whether it can will be part of Web 3.0 or beyond. It involves two design and communication areas: Computational Interaction Design and Interactive Kinetic Typography.
These communication and design concepts (powered by Computational Algorithms), experiments on how a website responds to a user, how it evolves in “real time”, evolves through time, and “real time” website intelligence. This thus, creates a functional site that is likened to a “living organism”.
Typorganism came together by a select group of design intellectuals to formulate and take the concept of design, interactivity and functionality on the web to a new level. Their Metaphorical Notion of Typography is: “Type is a Lifeform”.
Their website shows examples of what is install for us in the future and the true potential of website interactivity/ usability. My personal fav. interactive example is called “Good News, Bad news”; it shows a way to interactively put news and photos into live rolling website … be sure to check that one out! Another seperate website also shows how interactivity is taken to the next level through these concepts; see dontclick. Hint: Don’t forget to click and move your mouse to “interactively mesh” with these sites.
Typorganism and dontclick are one out of many that show modern site design, communication and innovation at its finest. The future of the web is very bright indeed…
