It is a very good illusion! After a while observing it what I have seen is that focusing only on the right part of the standing foot,it turns clockwise and focusing on the left side of her standing foot she moves counterclockwise.I 've seen that her standing leg moves only right and left and that is what causes the spinning of counterclockwise and clockwise spinning.

I can see it spin both ways and know that its a perception thing,i just know it has nothing to do with right or left brain, as a person that teaches neurology I get a bit annoyed when people explain things with right and left brain when they have no idea what they are talking about. I know correcting errors on the internet is like taking a drinking straw to the pacific ocean but if no one tells people that they are wrong then they make retarded assumptions.

you can make it change at will. I have found 2 ways. When i think about math and science it spins clockwise. When i think about art and paintings, it spins counterclockwise. Also imagining it in diff directions makes it change for me.Very Cool Imge

I love this! I can spin her at will! I use this to keep both the left and right brain active. We forget to use portions of the brain and never relize all the things our brain can do. Try using different music or try different times of the day! Also seeing the movie "What the Bleep Do We Know". This movie will help explain the proven powers of the brian and how you can control your brain.

it's weird, i see her spinning both ways, and then when i stare at her foot she doesn't even spin, she just moves it left and right back and forth, then when i stare at her head, her head spins a different way from her body

I can also see her spin either way at will. I also am very adept at the "3-d" pictures. I am very firmly right handed, but just about as firmly left-eyed and have had Lasik eye surgery, with one eye for near & the other for far. I guess I am just weird! Thank goodness!

Truth I think is, Is that your brain sees left and right only at a certain time.... its the middle ... when the legs go together or the arms are spread apart, then you can make the switch in your head of which way you would like the body to go. its more difficult trying to do it looking at the face. but stare at the legs and pretend the front leg goes to the back when you think its going to the front, then the body will change directions.. my opinion

i saw it spinning clock wise but then look at the shadow and focused on it and it changed direction

P.S. it the other way around. if u see it spinning clock wise then u use ur right brain more but if u see it spinning anticlockwise u use ur left brain more.

Look at the pic and imagine what she would like spinning left and then blink and then try visa versa. Very cool. You can make her change directions at will.
