Blogger’s block
Posted by The Foo in Blogs and Blogging

As you may have noticed, The Foo Logs has been pretty quiet lately. That’s because I believe after this many months of blogging (6 to be exact), I finally have blogger’s block (or writer’s block).

My mood’s down too with so many things to think about in my life at the moment (the cold weather doesn’t help too!). So I have been slowing it down a little. I am comforted in the fact that my loyal readers have come back and commented on older posts — nothing like good ole’ loyal blogging friends. Thanks y’all (in my best Southern accent)!

Hope my brain picks back up as I feel like I have hibernated for the winter.

  • Small world...as I'm surfing through blog mad, I'm also finishing a post on my own blogger's block! (I blame Xmas)
  • I think the term you are looking for is blogstipation. I've castor oil works wonders.
  • Babs was asking me the other day why humans don't hibernate the way other smart mammals do. I know that I definitely shut down more this time of the year when the day is just so darn short!

Honor it all, that's what I say. Blog if you want to. Sleep if you want to. Listen to your soul and all will be well. (I keep telling myself that anyway, Foo.) :o) Chin up. We all love you. The holiday season can be a rough one. That's okay, too. Do what makes you happy. (Okay, enough with the Ann Landers advice for the day.) *hugs*
  • It's all good, I am still relatively new to blogging and I already get days where I feel like I should say something but have nothing to say. So I just don't. :) I'd do what Local Girl said and enjoy the holidays! Inspiration will come when you aren't looking for it. :)
  • We all need a break now and then. This is a great time to sit back and just enjoy the holiday season. Hope you have a great Christmas1
  • 4 words to go by....This too shall pass.
