hello everyone,

as we all know - the trees are the oxigen source of our world.without them we would just suffocate and anyway - who wants to live in a world who has less trees ? its not a pretty sight.
the paper we use on a daily basis, at our office or at our home, is being processed from the trees that are being brutally cut.
i have came up with an idea how to help each and everyone of us to use a controlled amount of paper when we choose to print.
my idea is a software i have developed which is called PrintingMonitor.
this software runs on the background and monitors the user's printings.if the user prints too much - the printing will pause and a popup will alert .
now its up to the user to deside what to do - resume the print or delete it. the user desides how much is too much.
i developed this software as a concern for our planet and made it totally free for use.
more information can be retreived from the software's homepage : <a href="http://www.printingmonitor.com" rel="nofollow">http://www.printingmonitor.com</a>
many people have installed it allready.
did i mention it is free?

CatherineL: Yes I can't believe how many pages I waste a month especially printing out from the web. Seriously thinking of getting this software.

Kris: Lol yes ironic isn't it. Urgh, one powerpoint per page -- doesn't he know he could condense it to multiple powerpoints per page?

Great idea! I hate printing things out because of the wastage.

Ironically I went to an Environmental Biotechnology lecture and the guy (dealt with odours not trees) hadn't condensed his notes at all! One powerpoint slide per page! At least he double sided, but it was so unnecessary, it was a bit grotesque really.

Hi - this sounds great. I'm always printing off web pages and u end up using loads of ink with all the graphics. Plus it takes an absolute age. And if it helps the environment that's even better.
