Knock knock … anyone there?

16 seems to be the going number for The Foo Logs today, I’ll tell you why…

-The number 16 indicates the achievement of power
-16 is the count for prophets in the Old Testament
-16 is the sum of the four first odd numbers i.e. 1+3+5+7
-John Chapter 3 verse 16 is my one of the most widely quoted verses in the bible (and my favourite)
-16 happens to be the atomic number for the element Sulfur
-16 is the number of pawns in a chess set
-16 is Joe Montana’s jersey number when he won four Superbowls with the 49ers
-The current pope is Pope Benedict XVI (16)
-Bank card numbers are 16 digits long

Sorry for the rambling, what I was actually going to say was 16 is the number of months I have not blogged here. Yikes!

A lot has changed since, some of the blogs I used to read aren’t around anymore. I guess like me, everyone is busy with their lives. Blogexplosion is like a ghost town, Blogmad disappeared, MyBlogLog is going to be shutdown next month. Jaiku and Pownce are long gone. Oh and I’m going to be a daddy :).

If anyone is still even reading this, give me a shout — I know you guys are still out there. I am not turning off the lights around here anytime soon.

Hope everyone is well, and have a Merry Christmas!

I'm still subscribed here. You got lucky, too. I probably wouldn't have even noticed this particular post, but it popped up in an old subscription folder in my Google Reader. I've long since moved most of the subscriptions that were in it into more organized folders, but because you hadn't posted in so long, you were still sitting there. Welcome back. :)
